Movie Magic at Disney-MGM Studios 

Disney-MGM studios opened in May of 1989. Originally designed to be a theme park with a working TV/movie studio attached when it opened, it has added many rides to increase the focus of the theme park side. The backstage tram and animation tours have been updated. The excitement of the Disney-MGM studies lies in newly built attractions like Lights, Motors, Action!, Rock ‘N Rollercoaster starring Aerosmith, and Fantasmic!  There are several thrilling rides here that older children and teens will love like the Tower of Terror, Star Tours, and the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular. Families with young children can see Playhouse Disney Live, Voyage of the Little Mermaid, & the Beauty and the Beast stage show. The fun extends to wonderful dining experiences like the Sci-Fi Drive-in Diner and the 50's Prime Time Café. You can even dine like the stars at a replica of the famous Brown Derby Restaurant.
